Infrared Panel Heaters
This Infrared Sauna Heater uses a carbon-ceramic paper which provides a higher temperature and superior radiant efficiency versus any other infrared panel heater on the market. The large surface areas make these heaters ideal for sauna applications as they cover much more body surface area and a surface temperature of 180-190° provides ideal wavelengths between 4 and 14 microns, the most effective wave spectrum for the human body.
Features
- Patented carbon fiber, ceramic powder, natural pulp heater material
- Larger panel size up to 40 inches
- Higher surface temperature
- Low thermal loss
- High radiant efficiency
- Odorless
- Rapid heat up time
- Even heat distribution over panel surface
- Easy surface-mounting installation
Advantages
| Easy to install- Because the Infrared panel is so thin (.8 mm), it is very simple to retrofit an existing room into a sauna cabin. The heater are hung just like a picture frames, two wires supplied (40") are attached to a control box and that is it! |
|
| More surface - Because of the larger size, the whole human body can be immersed in Infrared rays. Other heaters are very specific and only provide direct heat to the part of the body in front of it. Most companies add reflection housings but the fact is Infrared light is very hard to redirect and very little is actually dispersed outside of the direct path. |
|
| 9.4 Microns! - The carbon-ceramic powered heaters release the most ideal Infrared wave lengths between averaging 4-14 microns. At this spectrum, our bodies absorb up to 93% of the infrared heat because the energy output so closely resembles our own bodies radiant energy. Other heaters emit infrared wavelengths but they are outside the ideal 9.4 spectrum. |
|
| Won't burn - Unlike other infrared heaters, the max surface temperature is under 190°F, while hot, this will not burn skin. Each heater also comes with a safety hi-limit switch on the back. |

Calculating the Required Number of Heaters
Room Volume = L x W x H
Rule: For every 15 ft³, add one 150 watt heater. The placement of the heater should be in front and behind the body.
