Silverton Kicksled

Our kicksleds are an artistic interpretation of a time-tested Nordic design - a fast turning, self-propelled sled that you can push up hills, ride down, or use as a mode of winter transportation, all with or without a friend in the front seat. The sled body, including the very comfortable slatted seat, is made of American white ash, maple and other beautiful hardwoods. The handle on each sled is a carefully chosen native willow branch, hand carved for a perfect fit and polished to show its natural beauty. Each kicksled is signed and numbered by the sledmaker.

SNOW FLOATS These 1-3/8" wide plastic runners snap onto the bottom of the single or double kicksled's steel runners. With the floats on, your kicksled will move quickly on groomed trails and in fresh snow. Snow Floats are included in the Mushing Package (below).
